Model files for 3D printing parts to upgrade a USS Voyager plastic model kit.
Print these STL files at 100% scale to create parts correctly sized for the Revell / Monogram 1:670 scale kit. Resize as necessary for kits of other scales.
Recommended for printing in resin / SLA process.
This set of parts includes:
- Aux Bussard Port v1 and Starboard v1 - Auxilliary bussard collector / impulse intake grill for the port and starboard pylons. Parts are oversized in x, y, and z dimensions--recommend sanding to fit. If you intend to light this feature, recommend printing in black resin.
- Bussard Intake Grill v1 - Intake grill replacement for warp nacelles eliminates part seam.
- Tractor Beam Emitter v1 - Improved detail to replace the featureless blobs on the original kit.
- Warp Grill v2 - Finer grill width and spacing. Print in clear plastic for lighting the model. For improved screen accuracy, foremost vertical edge is straight instead of curved. This requires some gap filling and fixing on nacelle housing.
- Main Deflector v1 - More accurate replacement for part from original kit. If you intend to light the main deflector, recommend printing this part in black resin.
