Made this 3d model with my group for a school assignment.

I thought it would be better to have it here for others to download and use rather than drying away on my computer. I had a great group on this project, and also really enjoyed studying the process of how Shigeru Ban's firm made this structure possible, from the design, to the manufacturing, and to the on-site assembly.

This structure is part of a larger building made for the Golf Club in Yeoju, Gyeonggi, South Korea. Shigeru Ban Architects have firms based in Tokyo, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles.

I am not associated with this firm in any way and do not take credit for the design. My group and I just made this 3d model as part of our project which was to specifically study the already existing structure of the wooden columns made by Shigeru Ban Architects. We did this in order to better understand how the structure was made, how it was placed, how it is structural & fireproof, and how it will withstand the forces of nature overtime, (and also to make an animation out of it in Rhino).
