Inspired by the 80's glass block, I designed a glass block style table lamp.The face is printed in clear PETG.

There are two grooves for sticking down two small LED strips and space to do whatever you want at the base. Wire it directly, attach an external LED dimmer, or put a zigbee or other controller in the base. its up to you!
