Model files for 3D printing interior rooms for a USS Voyager plastic model kit.
Print these files at 100% scale to create parts correctly sized for the Revell / Monogram 1:670 scale kit. Resize as necessary for kits of other scales.
Recommended for printing in clear resin / SLA process.
Most rooms require additional shaping by sanding or carving in order to fit curvature of interior surface of model.
This set of parts includes:
- Conference / briefing room (goes next to bridge on port side)
- Captain's ready room (goes next to bridge on starboard side)
- Captain's quarters (goes behind large bank of forward-facing windows on deck 3)
- Mess hall (goes behind forward-facing windows on deck 2)
- Cargo room (goes behind large forward-facing windows on underside of primary hull)
- Cargo room ceiling (goes on top of cargo room)
- Officer quarters (goes behind all other sets of large windows throughout the ship)
- Officer quarters ceiling (goes on top of officer quarters room, mostly needed only on rooms in secondary hull)
Quantities to print for complete voyager model:
- 1x briefing room
- 1x ready room
- 1x Janeway quarters
- 1x mess hall
- 1x cargo room
- 1x cargo room ceiling
- 12x officer quarters (add 6x if you also want to use this room for the primary hull large single windows, 2 on top and 4 on bottom)
- 4x officer quarters ceiling (add 4x if you want them for the 4 single windows on the bottom of the primary hull)
Models are designed to be printed directly on the build plate--no supports needed. All models are designed with a beveled edge to make it easier to remove them from the build plate.
