DESCRIPTION

This is my first excursion into blender. My girlfriend cut her thumb pretty bad, and we wanted to keep her from using/bending it. So I made this mold that goes under the thumb and will be held in place by the bandage. The side towards your hand is rounded downwards to be comfortable when you move your thumb around. The little extrusions on the underside are to prevent thin bandage strips from sliding off (sometimes she leaves the wound open and only attaches two thin strips, instead of covering the whole thing with one huge bandage) Also, you might consider compressing it slightly in the Z-direction. If you have skinny fingers, it may be too wide for you, but should still work fine at 70-90% width.
