DESCRIPTION

This is a Remix of the original LACK enclosre by Prusa.

I was building a Enclosure for my Prusa MK3S printer and I wanted the sides to be able to open.

Only 4 sliding locks are added to the originial design, all the basic deisgn remains the same.

Do check out my PSU Frame Holder, Under Table PSU Mount and Clip on Internal or External Controller backet for Prusa MK3S if you are building your enclosure so you can easily re-fix your PSU and Controller back on the printer should you want to bring your printer out of the enclosure.

These are the settings I used for this print:

I recommned PETG for this print but PLA should work just fine.Layer height: 0.2mmInfill - 15%Supports - 7% (or less) auto generated support, just enough for the sockets to print out cleanly and for the hooks to print properlyZ distance - 0.125 (for easier support removal)Other settings should be default

NOTE:

  1. You will need 4 1cm flat head wood 2mm diameter screws to hold the sliding switch in place

  2. This is a remix of the original Prusa Lack Enclosure listed on Mikolas Zuza's blog. I added a slot on each of the Top, Bottom joints on both the left and right sides to accommodate a sliding lock to hold the acrylic or polycarbonate sheet in palce when the doors are shut.

  3. You can download the original printable parts here (only the front opens though):https://blog.prusaprinters.org/cheap-simple-3d-printer-enclosure/
