The Leguan armoured rapid bridge is a further development of the Biber armoured rapid bridge. There are variants based on Leopard 1, T-72 / PT-91, M-60 and Abrams tank chassis as well as 8x8 wheeled chassis. This variant is based on the Leopard 2 with a 26-metre bridge consisting of three segments. The same vehicle can also carry two 14-metre bridge segments instead.
