Tonga 통아 - Korean Arrow Guide. When this tray-like guide is used with a gakgung, longbow, or a shortbow, its user can fire ammunition incompatible with bows, most typically pyeonjeon. Firing smaller missiles at an unequipped enemy unit is advantageous as they are unable to scavenge and return fire with smaller ammo.

Pyeonjeon 편전 - Mini Arrow. These small arrows are too miniscule to be fired from a bow without the use of a tonga. This prevents foes who lack the tool from recycling pyeonjeon in battle.
