Hunters in Aevaris called it the Duskthorn Drake, a dragon that stays grounded and patient, using shadow and distance as its armor. You rarely see it fly. You see the wings first, folded like a dark canopy, then the eyes.

This model depicts a grounded drake in a low, prowling stance with wings spread wide and slightly arched, as if preparing to launch or shield its body. The silhouette is long and predatory, with a spined neck crest, layered scales across the back, and a thick tail that curves behind for balance. The head is narrow and alert, with small horns and sharp facial ridges. The wing membranes show natural creasing and subtle wear, creating a rugged, lived-in look that reads well in both textured renders and physical prints.

The pose suits tabletop encounters and display dioramas where you want a dragon that feels ready to move. The wide wings add drama while the four-point stance keeps the center of gravity stable. Surface detail is distributed across the body, so painters can push contrast on the back plates, wing veins, and facial edges without losing readability at smaller scales.

This model is based on an original concept and design. The initial 3D form was generated with the assistance of AI tools, after which it was extensively refined and manually detailed in Blender and other 3D editing software. This workflow ensures the figure maintains its unique character and meets the standards of precision, structure, and print-readiness required for high-quality 3D printing.

Please note that the model is primarily designed for textured versions (OBJ + MTL in ZIP archive), allowing for a rich and visually detailed result when used with color-supported 3D printing or digital rendering.
