DESCRIPTION

Summary

I wanted to make a project that was conceptually easy, but was also an insane undertaking.

And so, here is a life-size dress form, exploded into individual quads, which can be printed (standing up) on a Replicator1 build plate.

Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

Instructions

WARNING: dress-form.stl is not printable! It's just to give you some idea of what the thing will look like when you put it together!

1: Print all 608 STLs. This can be accomplished by loading them into ReplicatorG one at a time and pressing Lay flat so that their bottom edges are touching the build plate. Once you've done that for all 608 files, you can plate them however you see fit using MakerWare, Blender, OpenSCAD, or whatever you prefer to use.
2: Glue them together. The names of the files are however Blender named them, so you'll have no help in knowing what order to put them together in. If anybody with better Blender-fu could make a derivative, I'd be much obliged.
3: Figure out some sort of stand to put them on.
4: Have an epic dress form, that's just for decoration.
