My 11 yr old son wants to make a comic book theme for his bedroom so we are making cool comics props to display around the room. I loved Ecogeeco's Man of Steel command key ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:124526 ) from the movie and I wanted a cool way to display it for his room so I modeled this in Autodesk Inventor. I based it around a standard 2" diameter acrylic tube from a local plastics shop (you should be able to find a similar part locally. This was based on Ecogeeco's key scaled up to 1" wide. The post fits up inside the square cavity in the center of the key. You will need to scale the base and lid to 102-103% so it fits the acrylic tube. Enjoy!
