How to Make a Dash 9 Stage 3 Free 3D model
This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 Hello All Train Buff's... my name is Lyn Poddley... and here is how to make a 3D model of a Dash 9 ... it is in 5 stages... and this is the 3rd Stage ... I am using detailed plans from TRAINIAX (personal use only!)... The Blue plan has to be cut out as best you can and dragged out step by step until you get similar to my demo.. Don't worry... we can play around to make it better later... The Final stage 5 will be Real life Texturing as in the live picture to give the 3D model Absolute Realism...
Tip!... Use Rectangle Tool as much as you can then remove waste or overlaps... (straight lines can wander)
