The modern round brilliant, built from its own proportions rather than traced from a scan.
A reference round from the Brilliani Labs cut library, generated from the studio's own facet data. It is not scanned, and not traced from a third-party model. The solid is watertight and manifold, with one planar face per facet, so it prints, casts and renders without repair.
Geometry, measured from the delivered mesh:
- 73 planar facets, 110 triangles, 57 vertices

Six formats are included. STEP carries the true solid body for CAD, so the facets stay as planar faces you can select and fillet. 3DM opens in Rhino as a closed mesh on its own layer; reach for the STEP when you want the faceted solid. FBX is the binary 7.4 file for Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, Unity and Unreal, carrying the mesh flat shaded with a material, so every facet reads as a facet on import. STL and OBJ are the watertight mesh for printing and rendering. GLB is a compact web and AR preview with the material embedded.
Scale it freely: carat weight follows the cube of size, so uniform scaling stays honest. For a physically plausible render, use a refractive index of 2.417 for diamond or 2.65 for moissanite.
