DESCRIPTION

All right this is a quick and easy simple KitBash that is scifi oriented. I call this kitbash quick and dirty because the 3D models are not manually unwrapped but instead I simply let Blender unwrap them for me so that it could be done quickly. What will you find with this Kitbash are 20 low poly models except for one which is the base 3D model. However, these 3D models will let you combine them however you want to create very cool looking scifi models. The sky is the limit to only your imagination and this is the reason why I really love KitBash because of the endless opportunities to create a vision.

In this Folder, you will find 20 folders where each folder will have two folders. One folder will be the textures and the other folder will be the the OBJ and FBX 3D models The textures are simply an EXR file and Normal Map.

Here are the Polygons Count for each model:

  • All parts together: 90594 Polygons
  • Part 1: 54 Polygons
  • Part 2: 87,793 Polygons
  • Part 3: 46 Polygons
  • Part 4: 110 Polygons
  • Part 5: 666 Polygons
  • Part 6: 98 Polygons
  • Part 7: 6 Polygons
  • Part 8: 438 Polygons
  • Part 9: 38 Polygons
  • Part 10: 22 Polygons
  • Part 11: 553 Polygons
  • Part 12: 46 Polygons
  • Part 13: 70 Polygons
  • Part 14: 66 Polygons
  • Part 15: 162 Polygons
  • Part 16: 46 Polygons
  • Part 17: 70 Polygons
  • Part 18: 26 Polygons
  • Part 19: 46 Polygons
  • Part 20: 738 Polygons

I will also have another version of this Kitbash with many different colored textures. Of course, it will cost a bit more but then some of you will probably enjoy the different colored textures to give your creations even more authenticity. So, be sure to wait for that come out as well. Thanks everyone!

FBX
This FBX file has successfully passed the CGT Standard technical and visual checks. The verification results are detailed in the section below.
File & scene
Binary FBX
Binary FBX file is more compact and faster to load and process.

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal
Learn more
No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.
Learn more
Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
