Photogrammetry based model of a blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) mandible (jaw) bone.
This bone is a part of a fragmentary skeleton of a blue whale located in the yard of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv, Holosiivskyi district). Raw model of the jaw was created in Agisodt Metashape. Retopology and filling holes in a raw model was performed in Blender. Concrete tiles and leafs are digitized as PBR materials with displacement maps using Grzegorz Baran’s workflow.
