Description

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 The Grey Alder is a fast-growing, short-living forest species of Eastern Europe that grows in mountain forests, preferably along water courses. It is a pioneer species(re-colonizing wasted lands) and it is often used along mountain roads to consolidate the mountain sides in order to avoid landslides. It is cold resistant. The timber is lighter than the one of the Black Alder, and not as useful. In Autumn, the foliage does not really turn colors, it only discolors a bit then falls. Origin : Eastern Europe. Height: up to 20 m (typically around 12 m).
