This mechanism is a converter that translates (or measures) rotational motion to linear motion with the below characteristic:1degree=0.27mm => 36degrees=10mm

For a full rotation (360 degrees), the index moves 100mm.Then it goes to 0mm again (watch the animation that zooms in the ruler).
