Inspired by tissue boxes this modern paper towel holder is designed specifically for one handed use. This holder/dispenser is built on a single semi-flexible sheet metal form that holds your paper towel roll firmly yet allows you to freely detach one piece at a time. The pointed shapes at the top constrict the sheet dispensing of the roll and effectively form a tear-off zone either pulling from the front or the back. This prevents the holder from sliding across the surface when detaching a sheet and also protects the roll from getting dirty, so no need to hold it down with the other hand. The base is open allowing the user to replace the roll from the bottom. The roll holders are flexible and can be fulled out slightly to allow the empty roll to drop and re-load a new roll.

This design encompasses simplicity and ease of use in an easily manufacturable shape with sheet metal or wood.
