Surge Proserpina Reservoir, Roman work that has a dam 500 meters long, and that provided water to Merida, having overcome a distance of 9 kilometers, which included the beautiful aqueduct of Miracles. Its structure, about 800 meters long, was composed by triple arcade on pillars of stone and brick of 25 meters, which exceeds the river valley or Albarregas stream and end in the tank water distribution, seated in the Hill Calvary and in the inner city.
