This carrier , colloquially known as ' boat ' within the semiconductor industry is the metal carrier utilized during various semiconductor processes depending on respective assembly unit / sample sizes and production requirement(s).

These carriers/boats are the ones that will ' run / sail ' on machine conveyors undergoing various required processes.

Attaching these SMT and or other various semiconductor related processes machines in SERIES will allow a smooth carrier/boat passage via conveyors.This is a CAD demonstration of a Semiconductor Carrier 40 x 40 MM REVISION A , 2 x 5 matrix . The matrix here refers to the number / geometry of ' slots / holes ' available for a particular carrier / boat in ' one - go' .
