Regarding Royalty Free licenses

Discussion started by wholesaled7

Hi fellow interneters, I had a question I wanted to ask but couldn't find anywhere so here I am, not waisting time any further. If I purchase a model here with that license does that give me permission to use the model in animated scenes I made to then sell as is(scene) to the public? sorry for English grammar mistakes and what not by the way not an English wizard. Thanks in advance.

Royalty free license, or in fact any other license on cgtrader, does not allow asset reselling. If you want to start selling your scene, or distribute it in any other way, you must populate it with assets that are made solely by you.

But after all, the conditions state that the Product can be used for commercial purposes if it is part of the Buyer's project and third parties do not get access to the Product in the form in which it was downloaded by the Buyer from the site. That is, in theory, the TS can somehow change the object so that it is not presented in his project in the form in which he originally downloaded it from the site. For example, in the case of a 3d model, you can try rebaking its textures onto another UV Map. Wouldn't that be in line with the rules? Maybe I'm wrong, I would like to hear your opinion.

Yes' you are wrong, that definitely would be breaking the terms and conditions.
