I really love and value my electric scooter, and I ride it pretty much in any kind of weather. The problem is, the stock front fender doesn’t do a great job with water splashes — they end up all over my legs and the deck. So I decided to design and make my own splash guard that would give maximum protection no matter the weather.
Here’s what you’ll need to get it installed:
4 PCS. M5 x 6 x 7 brass threaded inserts with heat-shrink knurled nuts
4 PCS. M5 x 20mm Stainless Steel Allen Hex Socket Cap Head Screw bolt
Just a heads-up: when you’re installing the splash guard, don’t press the plastic clips all the way down against it. There should be a small gap of a couple millimeters left.
