Abstract Divided Tray Collection STL – Organic Compartment Organizers for 3D Printing
E-mail for collaboration: koznov.sergey@gmail.comOrganize small everyday items with this Abstract Divided Tray Collection, a selection of functional and decorative STL models for 3D printing.
The previews show circular and organically shaped trays with three- and four-compartment arrangements. Each design combines a continuous outer rim with recessed pockets, using curved boundaries and differently sized sections to create a sculptural tabletop organizer.
The divided layouts provide separate spaces for jewelry, stationery, craft supplies, and other small accessories. Rounded interior transitions and flowing outlines give the collection a softer appearance than conventional rectangular sorting trays.
Print the trays in matching colors for a coordinated arrangement, or choose a different shade for each design. White, cream, and earthy tones emphasize the organic forms, while bright colors can make individual compartments and stored items easier to distinguish.
The food shown in the render illustrates a serving-tray concept. Direct food-contact suitability has not been established for the finished prints. Use them for decoration and non-food storage unless the fabrication materials and finished surfaces have been separately validated for the intended food use.

- .STL: Abstract divided tray models with circular and organic outlines and multiple recessed compartments.
- Print Orientation: Start with the broad underside on the build plate and the compartments facing upward.
- Layer Height: 0.16–0.20 mm as a starting point for balancing curved surface detail and printing time.
- Perimeters / Walls: 3 walls initially, adjusted for the chosen scale and divider thickness.
- Infill: 15–25% as a starting point, using Gyroid or Grid.
- Top / Bottom Layers: Begin with 4–6 layers and inspect coverage beneath the compartment floors.
- Supports: Evaluate each model’s outer curves and underside. Requirements depend on the actual overhangs and orientation.
- Material: PLA or Matte PLA for decorative indoor use and non-food storage. PETG is another option with suitable settings.
- Brim: Optional if the broad footprint needs additional bed adhesion.
- Build Plate Fit: Check the complete tray outline before printing at your chosen scale.
- Compartment Fit: Compare pocket dimensions and depths with the objects you intend to store.
- Scale Check: Confirm that the dividers, rims, and pocket floors remain sufficiently thick after resizing.
- Finishing: Remove stringing and printing residue, then smooth contact edges as needed.
These settings are suggested starting points, not verified print specifications or confirmation of food-contact suitability.
