DESCRIPTION

This is the project of a telescopic extendable tripod that can be used for any smartphone.

The kit has been designed for commercial aluminum tubes that can be easily purchased in DIY stores. Once the plastics have been printed, it is possible to assemble them on commercial tubes with diameters: Ø10, Ø12 and Ø14 of any length.

The length of the commercial pipes is not restricted, you can choose tubes of any length to obtain the desired height, for example the model in the photos has a height of 1.50 m at the level of the smartphone support. To get this height I used 400mm long tubes for the legs and 400mm long for the vertical support.

The printable kit consists of 16 elements, printer setting is:Layer height: 0.2 mmInfill: 10%Top solid infill: 3 layersBottom solid infill: 3 layers

To complete the assembly of the tripod, the following commercial components are required:

No.1 - 68mm long M3 threaded bar

No.1 - 40mm long M3 threaded bar

No.3 aluminum tube Ø10mm, thickness 1mm (length as desired)

No.4 aluminum tube Ø12mm, thickness 1mm (length as desired)

No.4 aluminum tube Ø14mm, thickness 1mm (length as desired)
