I wanted a pick holder, however all options were either ugly or obstructive so I designed this to hide within the curvature of the guitar. This is the best place for a pick holder as it is easily accessible but does not get in the way of playing.
It is designed to fit a Stratocaster (Fender Squire) but it also fits AXL player deluxe and I think it would likely fit most Strat dupes but I have not tested any others.
The mechanism uses a pen spring to keep the picks together.
MANUFACTURING INSTRUCTIONS:
Any hard material should work (I used PLA),Print the main part with the 'back of the guitar' part on the bottom, It has a flat section to make it easier to print.Print with tree supports.
To assemble, push the pen spring onto main body and cut so it is just proud of the top (as seen in the picture)To insert the 'plunger', tilt the spring towards the opening and slide the plunger over it while trying to guide the spring onto the protrusion on the bottom of the plunger.
To attach to the guitar, use some form of double sided tape, ideally with some thickness. I used 'Nano double sided tape, 1mm thick ' which worked well.
