A 3D-printable modular enclosure designed for a Raspberry Pi-based radiation detector system. This case improves access, organization, portability, and ventilation with removable walls, a pressure-fit lid, slotted air vents, and a removable wedge-locked handle.
This is a modular 3D-printable CAD model for a Raspberry Pi radiation detector case. The design was created to organize and protect a Raspberry Pi-based detector setup while keeping the electronics accessible for assembly, troubleshooting, and future upgrades.
Unlike a simple box enclosure, this case is designed around usability. The removable walls and pressure-fit lid make it easier to reach the Raspberry Pi and sensors after assembly, while the slotted vent pattern provides airflow for environmental sensing while reducing large debris entry. The removable handle is locked in place with wedge-style pieces, making the case easier to carry while still allowing individual parts to be reprinted or revised.
Designed for PLA printing, the model is split into separate parts to reduce the risk of wasting a large print if one component fails.
