T-72 Syrian Civil War – Improvised Armour Turret
This model is a Syrian Civil War–inspired T-72 tank turret, based on the heavily modified T-72s used by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and various militias during the conflict.
The design represents the field-expedient armour modifications seen on T-72s operating in dense urban combat environments, where crews attempted to improve protection against widespread anti-tank weapons such as RPGs and other threats.
The turret has been heavily modified with improvised armour, protective frames, metal plates, sandbags and other field equipment, giving it the distinctive appearance of a combat vehicle adapted for the conditions of the Syrian Civil War.
The rear section also features additional improvised stowage, bricks and gas canisters, representing the type of equipment and materials that could be carried or fitted to vehicles in the field.
