DESCRIPTION

German pre-dreadnought commissioned 1908. In WWI was she ordered in II Battle Squadron. She participated on many operations including Jutland battle. After WWI was German navy permitted retain 8 pre-dreadnoughts including Schleswig-Holstein. At beginning of WWII fired she at the Polish positions on the Westerplatte (Danzig).
