PRESSROTANS is a 1:20 scale rear loader module inspired by a Rotopac-style rotary compactor system, developed with focus on structural coherence and practical 3D printing.

The geometry was designed to reproduce the mechanical logic of a rotary refuse compactor while maintaining accessible printability and clean assembly.

Designed for integration with the ROMVLVS 1:20 chassis platform.

PRESSROTANS replicates the structural concept of a rear loader equipped with a rotational compaction system.

The internal architecture simulates:

• Rotary container movement• Structural housing• Rear loading system• Mechanical support frame

All components were proportionally developed to reflect real-world mechanical logic within scale limitations.

Motorization Ready Design

Optimized for container rotation motorization.

• Dedicated mounting piece for DC 12V 25GA-370 motor• Secure screw-based motor fixation• Gear interface designed for torque multiplication

Recommended operating speed:≤ 280 RPM for improved torque and realistic scale movement.

With a 1:5 gear ratio between the motor pinion and container gear, the system may deliver approximately:

~12.5 kg·cm (≈1.2 N·m) torque at the rotation axis.

This provides strong rotational capability for scale operation.

Printing Recommendations

• Materials: PLA, ABS, PETG or Tritan• Layer height: 0.15–0.20 mm• Infill: 15–40% depending on structural requirements• Supports required for specific components

If printing with multiple ABS colors, pay attention to part grouping during preparation.
