3D Print Model “Mining Truck 980E-5s” – Unusable for Slicing / Poor Mesh Quality Hello, I am a frequent buyer on CGTrader and have purchased many products on the platform. Recently I bought the following 3D print model: Model: Mining Truck 980E-5s Link: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/miniatures/vehicles/mining-truck-980e-5s I intended to use this model for 3D printing and to be able to work with it in parts (for example: wheels, dump body, chassis, etc.). However, the file I downloaded is causing serious issues: The OBJ mesh is extremely dense and heavily triangulated . The different parts of the truck appear to be merged into one single mesh , making it almost impossible to separate them in a clean way. In Bambu Studio (my slicer), the model causes problems and does not allow a proper part separation or preparation for printing . I have also tried to work with the model in Blender and in CAD software , but due to the mesh quality and the way everything is fused together, it is very difficult or practically impossible to edit. For a model that is sold specifically as a 3D print model, it is reasonable to expect that: It is prepared in logical separate parts (or at least structured in a way that a slicer can handle and prepare it properly for printing). In its current state, I consider that this model: Is not properly prepared for 3D printing , And is not usable for the intended purpose. I kindly ask you to: Review this model and its real quality for 3D printing. Help me with a solution, either: A corrected version of the model with proper part separation / better mesh structure, or A refund, if the model cannot be provided in a usable form for 3D printing. I am attaching: Screenshots of the wireframe in Blender (showing the dense triangulation and merged parts). Screenshots from Bambu Studio showing the issues when trying to slice or separate the model. As a regular CGTrader customer, I am concerned that the quality of some 3D print models might be degrading, and I would really appreciate it if you could review this case. Thank you very much for your help.
