HISTORICAL NOTE: CSS Virginia was an armored battleship of the Confederate States Navy, which served during the American Civil War. The ship was built with the reuse of the USS Merrimack rubble. He participated in the Battle of Hampton Roads in March 1862 against the USS Monitor. The battle is mainly significant for naval history, as the first battle between two armored ships.
