3D printing settings
For FDM Printers (PLA / ABS / PETG):
Layer Height: 0.1 – 0.2 mm (for fine surface detail)
Infill: 15–25% (higher for stronger RC shells)
Wall/Perimeter Thickness: 2–3 lines (0.8 – 1.2 mm)
Supports: Only where necessary (mainly under bumpers & wheel arches)
Bed Adhesion: Brim or Raft recommended for long flat parts (like chassis or roof)
Print Speed: 40–60 mm/s (for best detail and surface quality)
For SLA / Resin Printers:
Layer Height: 0.03 – 0.05 mm (ultra-fine detail)
Supports: Light to medium density (especially under overhangs like bumpers & mirrors)
Curing: Post-cure with UV light for strength
