While designing Set 2 – the Death Star Shaft – there was some leftover space that felt like an opportunity rather than a gap. It made sense that the officers stationed on the Death Star would have their own private quarters nearby. Drawing inspiration from concept art featured in Battlefront II, these officer quarters were carefully integrated into the set, adding both detail and authenticity to the environment.
