Orion Drive Two Ended Interstellar Ship Concept 3D print model

A 1/1000 scale model of a theoretical concept for an interstellar spacecraft based on the orion drive meanign the ship essentially detonates hydrogen bombs behind itself and uses the shockwave as thrust with a large giant armored plate and dampened pistons at the rear to translate the short pulses into a more continuous acceleration this versin is designed as an interstellar vessel using two armor plates one to speed up and one to slow down so it doesn't need to turn around at the halfway point - this is useful since at a significant fraction fo the speed of light you need frontal armor to protect yourself from the interstellar medium anyways the model is designed at 1/1000 scale and is 1 meter long but can be scaled down further
