MK III update:

With the MK III update the fuselage form and the positioning of adjacent parts like the nose, r-unit strip and backplate are even more accurate. The biggest change is the overall length of the fuselage, which is now 8.4 mm longer.A list of the changed parts is included as PDF.

The files now also include:

• Pre-Supported STL files and Lychee Slicer Scenes for resin printing
• Studio Model R-unit

Designed with meticulous attention to detail, the use of the latest technologies like photogrammetry and with the originally used kit parts in hand, every curve, every panel line and every detail has been faithfully recreated to be as accurate as possible to the Red 5 Hero studio model, that was used for filming.

With this 3D print files you can build your own studio-model-accurate replica of Red 5. But you can of course paint it in any desired color scheme and call sign you want. The included templets for the call sign markings will help you with that.

The last eight pictures show the main differences between Red 3 and Red 5.

Print the wings and the fuselage with engineering resin (or similar that has little to no flex) to prevent any sagging. Don’t use an ABS-like resin.Cure the wings and the fuselage very thoroughly immediately after printing for at least 20-30 minutes (washed of course).If you still need a good slicer for resin printing, I recommend Lychee Slicer.
