Measurements and Fitting Instructions
How to Measure for Chest Armor:
Chest Circumference: Measure around the widest part of the chest
Waist Circumference: Measure around the natural waist for fitting the lower edge
Shoulder Width: Measure across the back from one shoulder point to the other
Torso Length: Measure vertically from the base of the neck to the waist
Fitting Tips:
Straps & Fasteners: Add Velcro or elastic straps to connect armor plates comfortably
Padding: Use foam or EVA lining for structure and comfort
Scaling: Adjust scale in slicer software based on your body dimensions
Printing Instructions
Printer Settings:
Layer Height: 0.1–0.2 mm for clean edges and mechanical details
Infill: 15–25% for a balance of durability and weight
Supports: Required for overhangs, especially around chest plate curvature and ridges
Build Plate Adhesion: Use a brim for large parts to prevent warping
Material Recommendations:
PLA: Easy to print and ideal for cosplay
PETG or ABS: Better heat resistance and impact strength for wearables
Resin: Not recommended for large parts unless scaled down
Post-Processing and Finishing
Sanding: Smooth seams and edges with fine-grit sandpaper
Assembly: If printed in sections, align pieces using pins or tabs and glue securely
Painting:
