The prototype of the car was built by the Norfolk and Western Railway at their Roanoke Shops in Roanoke, VA from 7/1973-6/1974 (Series 177001-178000) and also from 12/1979-4/1980 (Series 178001-178500) This HO 1:87 HO NW Roanoke Shops HC-71 3-Bay Covered Hopper STL files comes with the body, roof, unloading hatches, barcode pad if needed, brake wheel and coupler box covers. The only thing you need to complete this model is some 100-Ton rolling bearing trucks with 36' metal wheels and metal couplers of your choice. Also you need 2-56 x 1/4 phillips pan head screws for the trucks and 2-56 x 1/8 phillips pan head screws for the coupler boxes.
