X-Men Wolverine Claws Going Through Helmet Statue

X-Men Wolverine Claws Going Through Helmet Statue 3D print model

Description

I just want to run through how I assembled this, you are able to print an all in one I just had a problem with two things;

A. Supports went straight inside the helmet and it was nearly impossible for me to get them out. B. Where the Gauntlet touches the base is very fragile, so that without any extra support was nearly impossible to keep the Gauntlet up right without any additional support.

You are more than welcome to give it a try, there are probably a lot more smarter minds out there than myself that could figure out how to do it.

So with the All In One STL file, I have also uploaded all the seperate parts that come along with it, and how I assembled mine for additional support was quiet simple.

  1. I drilled a hole in the middle of the X-Men Base and I super glued the base to a thin sheet of metal to give it some additional weight.
  2. I then attached a metal pole through the drilled hole and onto the metal base.
  3. I then grabbed the Fist and drilled a whole at the bottom about half way through the Fist.
  4. I super glued the Gauntlet and the Fist together, and then super glued the Claws to the Fist.
  5. I then slid the Gauntlet over the metal pole and let the metal pole go through drilled hole made in the Fist.
  6. I then took my Helmet and at the top of my Helmet I measured where I make slits for the Helmet to slide onto the Claws.
  7. I then cut out the slits on top of my Helmet and slid the Helmet where I was happy for it to stay and super glued the Claws and Helmet together.

Overall this was a very fun project, I would be very interested to hear how other people find the assembley of this statue, so please feel free to give me a message on how you found this project.
