Documentation (history)

The United States Navy grew rapidly during World War II from 1941 to 1945 and played a central role in the war against Japan. She also assisted the British Royal Navy in naval warfare against Germany and Italy. The United States Navy grew slowly in the years leading up to World War II, due in part to international limitations on naval operations in the 1920s.

Battleship production resumed in 1937, beginning with the USS North Carolina. (BB-55). The navy was able to increase its fleets during the early years of the war while the United States was still neutral, increasing the production of ships both large and small, fielding an armada of nearly 350 major combat ships in December 1941, and having an equal number under construction.

I scaled it down to 1:350 and printed it at 25 microns, and it came out really well. An excellent addition to a ship model I was working on.
