When Kirby obtains the ability, he falls asleep for a few seconds before waking up, discarding the ability in the process.Sleep also appears in the remake, Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, functioning the same way.Sleep reappears in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, functioning the same as in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.Sleep works similarly in Kirby: Squeak Squad, however, upon obtaining the Ability Scroll in Vocal Volcano - Stage EX, Sleep becomes mildly useful, allowing Kirby to regenerate some health during his nap.
