Hi everyone!

Shelob's Lair is a personal fan art project created as a tribute to one of my favorite moments from The Lord of the Rings: the terrifying encounter between Frodo and Shelob in her lair.

I wanted to capture the atmosphere of that scene in a detailed display diorama while also preparing the model specifically for resin 3D printing.

The 80 mm and 150 mm versions were prepared with optimized support layouts and include both the original unsupported parts and their pre-supported versions, allowing you to use the provided setup or prepare your own supports if preferred.

Lychee project files are also included for both prepared versions.

The additional 120 mm version is provided as a single decimated mesh and is intended as an alternative version for users who prefer to prepare the model themselves.

Please note: the painted/color renders shown in the product images are a digital painting and material suggestion for presentation purposes only. Textures and painted materials are not included with the downloadable files. The product includes the 3D printable meshes and the files described above.

A lot of time and care went into the sculpting, composition, detailing, splitting and print preparation of this project, and I hope you enjoy printing and painting it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
