DESCRIPTION

Figurine of actor Roger Moore inspired by one of the posters used to promote the movie Moonraker. As many know, 007 doesn't wear the spacesuit in the movie, because the screenplay was readapted during production. You can read the Marvel comics version of the movie to see how it was intended, considering that both comics and movie poster were being developed before any change. Moore was said to have posed in a spacesuit for the artist just asking to be paid extra... in cigars.Another note is that the spaceblaster was intentionally shortened on the movie poster, to promote the Lone Star toy version which had to be sold in toyshops when the movie was in the cinemas. (original size would have been too heavy for a kid to handle)This is not meant to be an accurate model kit, it was difficult to spot all the details from the remaining suits, besides the reduction in scale requires that some elements have to be simplified. Comes nice when handpainted.Suggested size is a 120 mm figure, you can print it as a toy soldier or a x-mas tree ornament (just screw a small ring on the back).
