Heron Sculpture

A finely sculpted standing heron created for small diorama and layout scenes. The figure features an elongated S-shaped neck, tapered bill, stylized feather texture on the torso and layered wing blocks, and long stilt legs ending in splayed toes. It sits on a low square block that makes mounting into scenic bases simple. The download includes a single master file; scale from this file if you need a different ratio. The legs and bill are the most delicate parts—plan supports or reinforcement before printing and consider embedding the feet into a small scenic pad for stability. Base scale 1:87 (HO). The STL is dimensioned at 1:87 — scale it up or down in your slicer to print at any scale you need.

We use ai to paint our models for display. All other renderings and original model are done in 3dsMax 2025 and represent close to 10 years of 3d model work.

All Stls are done to a target size of 50 to 100mb to make them manageable for the average users computer. This results in a a mesh density of 33 faces per mm
