This is humanoid robot sculpture is based around the idea of biomimicry. The actuators are based on human muscles and the structural elements are based on humanoid bones.

Also included is a form2 print file of the model sliced up and with a 2mm hollow. This is what was was assembled and painted in the photos.

This is actually a sculpt similar to something I hope to build. The muscles will be composed of pneumatic actuators and the bones will be 3D printed. The geometry of the muscles will be quite unique and allow for improved understanding of how a human body works, with it's wide array of bi and multi-articulated muscles, and parallel actuation.
