Wilhelm Franz von Habsburg-Lothringen — Austrian archduke from the Habsburg dynasty, politician, diplomat, poet, colonel of the Legion of Ukrainian Riflemen. William of Habsburg was known in Ukraine as Vasyl Vysyvanyi, the name given to him by Ukrainian soldiers during the First World War. He was considered one of the unofficial contenders for the Ukrainian throne in the event of the formation of a monarchical system. Although he himself never officially announced his intentions to be the Ukrainian monarch and did not even have the opportunity to do so, Vasyl became famous for his military and diplomatic skills, poetry and love for Ukraine
