Tribhuwana Tunggadewi (birth name: Dyah Gitarja) was the third ruler and the first queen regnant of the Majapahit Empire, reigning from 1328 to 1350 CE. She was the daughter of Raden Wijaya, the founder of Majapahit, and Gayatri Rajapatni.Under her rule, Majapahit successfully crushed the Sadeng rebellion and expanded its territories. Her era is highly significant because she appointed Gajah Mada as the Prime Minister (Mahapatih).
