Log Cabin 3D print model

DESCRIPTION

A simple log cabin based on the traditional Finnish design.

The model is separated to two files to avoid the need for support material. Optionally for some more detail there are files for single logs that are glued to the roof as seen in the second picture.

You can scale the model to your liking, going too small however will not show the detail on the roof. Smaller layer height is preferable for the roof as well. Also a brim to make sure it sticks to the build platform.

REVIEWS & COMMENTS

I like this model and the asking price was very reasonable. The model is well made, but not perfect. There are two issues I specifically had. 1) The logs in cabin_01 taper in where they were mirrored starting above the window header log. This isn't a HUGE issue, but it is noticeable even in the final print. 2) There is a gap at the top where the cabin meets the roof. There is a triangular gap between the wall and the ridge of the roof. Not sure why this is here. I would recommend extending the cabin wall all the way up to close this gap.
