I have added some images of the Folly to show what it can look like painted and also images of the original building in Paris France.

About 8 years ago the Folly was a building that I recreated in 12th scale. The model was reimagined from a real building in France: Le pavillon, Parc de Bagatelle. It is a beautiful structure and stands as a gatehouse at the entrance to the park. It has a charming history. Many years ago a lady once lived in the house and she is reputed to have owned a large number of cats. The house is no longer inhabited although I have been told it is under restoration. The model is now available as a 3D printable file for you to print at home. I shall be adding a larger more complicated version to the site for those who wish to print in larger scales and these will be split for ease of printing. The interior of the building is rather dull and plain but I have created some wonderful ornate decor that I shall list at a later stage.

The download contains files ready to be 3D printed on your 3D printer. You will need to add supports. This model is proposed 48th scale in size at 100% but can easily be increased and decreased in scale using suitable software or in your 3D slicer. It will comfortably reduce to 144th scale. Please note that very small scales may have reduced wall thickness. Please see description below for more details. All my models are test printed using SLA resin printers.
