Inspired by Icarus, this ring captures one of the most iconic tales in Greek mythology: that of ambition, freedom, and the fall. Transformed into a wearable miniature sculpture, the piece immortalizes the suspended moment between ascension and decline, when the desire to transcend human limits meets the unforgiving laws of destiny.Drawing inspiration from the ancient myth, the design evokes Icarus ascending toward the sun on wings of wax and feathers. The sculpted reliefs suggest movement, wind, and the momentum of flight, while the textures and dramatic forms convey both the beauty of freedom and the tragedy of the fall. The composition seeks to capture this eternal tension between the dream and its consequences.Beyond the mythological figure, Icarus has become a universal symbol of courage, audacity, and the quest for the impossible.
