An elegant pendant or necklace charm, the Septagram (or, alternately, the Seven-Pointed Star) can be found in the various spiritual and occult traditions. The oldest known appearances are in Kabbalistic tradition, where it represents the sphere of Venus. It can also be found in Christian tradition as a symbol of protection. Also referred to as the Elven Star or Star Of Babalon, more recently the symbol can be traced to a group in San Francisco during the 1980s called, The Elf-Queen's Daughters.
